Mr. Goethals directs the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble II, and Jazz Lab Band. He also teaches woodwind and freshmen percussion lessons. A native of Fraser, MI, he graduated from Fraser High School.  As a saxophonist, Mr. Goethals went on to Eastern Michigan University where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. Before arriving at Kimberly in 2016, he student taught 5th through 12th grade band in Dexter, MI. Mr. Goethals is an avid performer in the Fox Valley. He performs with Vento Winds, Wisconsin Symphonic Winds, and Brewster Street Brass Band. He is also a woodwind doubler for musical theatre.
