The parade tune, God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, memorization is due in lessons this week (10 points)! After checking the memorization, we will continue to work on your solo. The first page (front and back) of your Solo Portfolio packet is also due if you haven't done that. Butter Braid Fundraiser Our first fundraiser of the year is kicking off on Monday! Order forms will be given out in class on Monday. We did the Butter Braid fundraiser last year and it was extremely successful. Each product sold will earn you between $5-$6 into your individual account that you can use toward trips. Last year we had a few students earn over $200 in their account! This year, there is an online portal (in addition to the paper order form) that you can sell through! Customers can place their orders and make their payment via credit card so you don't have to collect any cash or checks. Please check out this video to see more information about this. All orders with money are due no later than Monday, December 1st. The products will be delivered on Tuesday, December 9th and will need to be picked up between 3-4pm. They are delivered frozen and need to remain frozen until they are being prepared to bake. If you are making a lot of cash/check sales, please have your customers make their checks out to you/your parents so you can write one check for all of the orders to turn in. This makes it a lot easier for us at the school! When you are finished selling on your paper order form, the "Amount" money column needs to be added up for a total at the bottom. All product columns also need to be added up accurately at the bottom of the page. These are the numbers that will be sent to the company. Please double & triple check your work! Spring Trip 2027 The Orlando, Florida trip meeting is this Thursday, November 13th at 7pm in the KHS Auditorium. Current trip information can be found here. We will share trip highlights, a tentative itinerary, and payment information at the meeting. This meeting is NOT a commitment to go on the trip. If you are even thinking you might want to go, you should definitely attend the meeting! If you are unable to attend, we will have packets of information that will be available the following day. Jazz Band Concert The Jazz Band Concert is November 20th. The concert starts at 6:30pm. Make sure you're getting your concert black attire taken care of! Comments are closed.
