Lessons
No lessons this week! The week after break, the next page of your solo packet is due - Style and Historical Background. You should have the Solo Overview (2 sided) and the Style and Historical Background pages done. There are only 3 more lessons with your solo before In-School Judging. Make sure you are practicing!

Combined Rehearsals
Our last combined rehearsal is Tuesday during 3C.

Appleton Christmas Parade
Tuesday is the parade! Here are some reminders: 

• You may decorate your instrument as long as it remains playable. Have fun with this! It would be a good idea to get your instrument decorated before you arrive on Tuesday night. Make sure you clean up after yourselves!
• Wear layers under your uniform (make sure they aren't sticking out). Toe warmers, hand warmers, heated vests, warm socks (if they aren't black, put your black socks over them!), etc. Make sure nothing is visible/sticking out of your uniform. 
• The uniform room will open at 5:45pm. Make sure you have your solid black shoes as well as your other uniform items. Everyone needs to be ready to load the buses by 6:10pm.
• We will provide a pair of black gloves. These gloves are not very thick. You may wear another pair of gloves under them if they are not black. If you have a pair of solid black gloves that you would like to wear instead, double check with the directors to make sure they are approved. 
• We will provide a Santa Hat for everyone to wear. These will help cover your ears. You may wear some sort of headband/earmuffs as long as they are not sticking out from the hat and distracting. 
• When we return to the school, the band boosters are hosting a reception with hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and delicious desserts! Turn in your uniform and head to the commons and enjoy! 

We will be performing for around 100,000 people (in person and on tv)! Let's show the Fox Valley who the Kimberly Band is!
