Being in the Kimberly Band program is a great experience — it offers students opportunities that many others outside of band do not get. The bands travel out of state every other year, and all students are invited (but not required) to join us!
Why should I travel?
Many high schoolers say that their favorite memories of high school are the music trips with friends! The Kimberly Bands offer students many opportunities that other classes do not provide. Traveling with the band is an excellent way to experience different parts of the country with your friends!

This is an optional trip, but all students enrolled in band next year (including freshmen!) are encouraged to travel!
On the trip, we will visit three Universal Studios parks (including the new Epic Universe attraction), Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios (including the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge), Disney Springs, and enjoy a day at Cocoa Beach. We will participate in a Soundtrack Session, where students will perform music from Disney movies with a Disney artist, and cap the trip off with a parade down Main Street USA in front of Cinderella's Castle.
Trip packets will be available following the meeting for those unable to attend.
