Required Supplies

Each Kimberly band student has required materials in order to be successful. Most students have had these supplies since 5th grade, though you may have run out of some items, or they may have been lost. Supplies can be purchased at Heid Music or from other online retailers. Please have these supplies ready for the first day of school.
All Students
  • Blueprint for Success book (provided)

  • Personal instruments should be in good working order with yearly professional maintenance.
Freshman Brass and Woodwinds

Percussion students should label their sticks and mallets for easy identification.
  • Alfred's Drum Method Complete Book (red cover)
  • stick bag
  • concert snare drum sticks (SD1 or IP CL1)
  • Hardimon marching snare or tenor sticks (dependent upon instrument)
  • medium yarn mallets (IP 240)
  • hard bell/xylophone mallets (IP 904)
  • snare drum practice pad (6” or larger)
