​Disney Acceptance
We have officially been accepted as Disney performers!  Recently, we went through the process of applying to perform at Disney and were accepted to perform in a parade down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom, as well as at a performance workshop where we will play Disney music set to the corresponding scenes of an animated film.  Super exciting!

Updated Itinerary
Now that we have been officially accepted as performers, we have an updated itinerary.  Please take a look!  There are few changes, but several components have been confirmed.  If you are purchasing tickets separately, this itinerary is set for the days in the parks.  Additionally, you may be interested in a Fan Package as described below.

Fan Packages
Our travel company is offering ticket packages that follow the band's schedule while we're in Florida.  These are park tickets only, and do not include travel, lodging, or meals. Family members who are not on the full trip must coordinate their own travel at all times.

Details

• 2-Day Walt Disney World Starter Ticket (one park per day), and a 2-Day 3-Park Park-to-Park Universal Orlando Ticket (with Epic included for 1 day)
• valid for guests aged 3 years and older
• valid for group park dates only
• All tickets will be mailed via FedEx at least two weeks prior to departure. Please provide an accurate home address when registering.
• Transportation to/from Orlando and any transportation costs/parking fees/tolls while in Orlando are the responsibility of the traveler.
• Ticket numbers will be available to guests a maximum 45 days prior to departure.

Fundraising
We are beginning a new fundraiser on September 8th: Robinson's Poinsettias! Customers will purchase gift cards that sellers distribute. Customers can then pick up the poinsettias from Robinson's at the customer's convenience. More information is available on our fundraising page.

There is one more payment this school year before we take a break for the summer.  Please make sure to stay up-to-date with your payments!

Required Rehearsals
Required trip performance rehearsals for band students will begin in mid-February — please add these to your calendar! We will have five Sunday afternoon rehearsals from 1:00pm to 3:00pm beginning on February 21st, with the final one on March 21st to prepare for our parade performance at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. As noted in the trip commitment form, these rehearsals are mandatory, and students may not be permitted to travel if they are not present at each rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held in the KHS Band Rooms and will include learning/memorizing the parade tune and parade marching.

Required Traveler and Family Meeting
A student and parent/guardian travel meeting for all travelers (band students and adults) will be held after the final rehearsal on March 21st at 3:30 in the KHS Auditorium. At the meeting, students and families will receive a packing list and a final itinerary. We will also go over the trip's details and answer questions. Please note that an adult must be present for each student, and we can only hand these to students who have paid in full.
