Wind Ensemble
Wind Ensemble is the premier instrumental ensemble at Kimberly High School. Instrumentation is limited and enrollment is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have demonstrated the highest level of achievement on their instrument. (Conductor consent and/or an audition is required.) The Wind Ensemble studies a variety of band literature and performs a wide range of events during the year. Students receive private lessons and have opportunities to perform in various ensembles and participate in Solo & Ensemble Festivals. The Wind Ensemble will be combined with the Concert Band and Symphonic Band for some performances, including the homecoming show. Performances and practices outside of the school day and Solo & Ensemble are a graded requirement for this class. The Wind Ensemble is directed by Mr. Daniel Goethals.
